With Big Willie Styles still on vacation, Braden Keil returned to his desk this week knowing that Curbed readers are starving for choice celebrity real estate dish. How did he fare? Eh, we're not too picky.
1) Christopher Meloni, who supports his hilarious turns in "Harold and Kumar" and "Wet Hot American Summer" with high-paying dramatic gigs like "Oz" and "Law & Order: SVU," just snatched up a three-bedroom, five-bathroom condo in the Park Imperial on West 56th Street for $5.45 million. The Park Imperial (right) also houses celebs like Randy Johnson and Tommy Mottola. Who said crime doesn't pay? [Branden Keil/NYPost]
2) So what becometh of Meloni's Riverside Drive duplex penthouse? Fret not, for it has landed in the able hands of CNN's Miles O'Brien, for $3.2 million. The three-bedroom condo, in the West 90s, measures in at roughly 2,000sf. O'Brien is relocating from Atlanta because he took over as co-host of "American Morning." [Braden Keil/NYPost]
3) Cabbie Judd Hirsch thinks he has found a buyer for his luxurious 700 Park Avenue co-op. The board has already rejected one applicant for his four-bedroom, six-bathroom palace, which has not one but two maids' rooms for optimal dusting assistance. If the buyer sneaks by, the tab is $4.49 million and $4,192 in monthly maintenance. Good luck to all parties. [S.Jhoanna Robledo/NYMag]
