When potential purchasers tour today's new developments a decade from now, will they be struck with the lockstep in which developers marched circa 2005? Way downtown, round Wall Street way, Halstead is marketing the latest in the Design Within Reach development series: 50 Pine Street.
The loft-style residences boast all the finest brand names (Bosch, we're looking at you), but the development website doesn't give any hint about the designer or architect. (Anyone know the scoop?) Appears about half of the units have already gone to contract in the week this baby's been on the market; more units still up for grabs for prices ranging from $775,000 for a 1200sqft 2BR to $2.725m for a 3050sqft 3BR.
