In Search of Stadium, Jets Continue to Spread Ball Around

It's official: the Jets are stadium whores. Today's Post reports that Jets officials are serious about building in Flushing Meadows "over the remains of a massive fountain from the 1964 World's Fair." Last week, they submitted a plan for co-owned new digs with the Giants where there current digs lie in East Rutherford, NJ. And, against all odds, they still think they might end up on the West Side rail yards in Manhattan.

But the Giants are pretending they don't even know the Jets, the West Side ship sailed long ago, and the Queens site is fraught with parking and park woes. Our prediction? Jilted by all their lovers, the Jets will end up in Fairfield, Connecticut.
