Brownstoner Gives Up His Morning Craig

Brownstoner thinks about highlighting some Craigslist townhouse listings and then thinks again:

Has anyone else found Craigslist getting more and more useless for townhouse sales? Maybe free listings are not particulary useful when dealing in items that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Clearly the end-user (buyer) benefits from the self-selection that occurs when the New York Times charges a fee to list a property.
Several of his commenters are similarly jaded, wishing that the riff-raff would stop sullying their free-listing browsing. This is a sign. Of what, we're not sure.
