Speaking of tree slaughter, a reader notes: "Ironic that I write this, as I live in the Chelsea Tower high-rise, the developers of whom did this same thing several years ago! Yet, work has begun on the construction of another Mc-high-rise apartment in Chelsea, in the old Annex location, at the East side of 26th St and 6th Ave. After the construction fences were built, the first (Two) things to go were the big trees on the property." Talk about citizen journalism: the photo above appears to be mid-murder.
