Rumblings and Bumblings Responses: Not a McDonald's

1) Word is "the site at 18th and 8th is going to be a 6 story building (see rendering above -ed) with Valley National Bank on the ground floor and 4 full-floor luxury condos above it. The building is being developed by Blumenfeld Development Group, deisgned by Kutnicki and Bernstein Architects and marketed by Rob Gross at Douglas Elliman."
2) As for the former Music Palace, a reader writes, "It's owned by individuals in Hong Kong- And as for why its not been converted- They are asking for over 13 million- there is currently an offer of ~12 million on the table."
