Public Relations Intrigue Update: Another One Bites the Dust

Yesterday, it seems, was quite the blood-letting day for real estate public relations folk. First came news that DwellingQuest had dismissed its PR head, Kelly Kreth, over a controversy arising from veiled posts about co-workers on her blog. (Emailed comment to Curbed from DQ head honcho Daren Hornig: "We wish Kelly the best." The nerve!)

Comes word this morning that Corcoran released PR head Stephen Larkin (seen here at left in happier times) from service yesterday. Says a tipster from deep inside the Corcoran Empire, "Nobody at Corcoran knows what is going on - Pam on her continuing monomaniacal rampage, most probably. Mystery!!" Indeed. Full email to her staff from CorcoCEO Pam Liebman explaining the situation, after the jump.

Subject: Changes in our PR Department
Importance: High
Hello everyone -

I write to inform you that as of today Stephen Larkin is no longer with The Corcoran Group. A search is underway and we expect to announce his replacement shortly.

In the meantime, Jessica Aufiero and Jenna DeMare are continuing in their roles and will be handling matters in our Public Relations Department. They are very talented women and I have every confidence that our PR efforts will not miss a beat thanks to their hard work. If any of you were actively working with Stephen on a press-related matter, I encourage you to contact either Jessica or Jenna to enlist their assistance so that your projects will not be interrupted.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or Bill Begert. Thank you.

Best touch, of course, is the fact that she set the email importance to "High." Truly awesome.
