On the site of the former Mayflower Hotel, blogger CitySpecific snaps the above photo and notes, "There's a rare perspective of Central Park South and environs to be had from about Broadway and 62nd these days, while work on Robert A.M. Stern's 15 Central Park West remains well below the scaffolding. It's kind of like the Mayflower Hotel was the baby tooth that fell out and the adult tooth is taking its time growing in -- in the most expensive mouth around, of course."
