Some news now on the controversial 33-story J Condominium project (née Light Bridges) in Dumbo, controversial because nobody really wants to see it get built. After signing up for the contact list on the J Condo website, Set Speed got a call saying that appointments with the sales center have begun. There was no indication as to how much any of the 267 units will cost, but let's not get bogged down in minor details. The call went on:
The caller let us know that they are already on their first amendment. Apparently sales started yesterday and there's already one amendment. But, does anyone smell a replay of 70 Washington here? Calling for appointments, the multiple amendments, etc?
Floorplans are on the site. GE Profile appliances. No Subzero, Viking or Dornbracht here, folks.
The lack of such luxuries almost immediately indicate a non-replay of 70 Washington, although we never did find out the whereabouts of those stolen goods. We're looking at you, J Condo.
