A quick hit this week from the wilds of Brooklyn. This map shows pre-foreclosure filings in Brooklyn for the last seven days. Because of Christmas the number of filings is low, but the map shows a pattern that is consistent week in, week out: pre-foreclosures (and also foreclosure auctions) in Brooklyn are almost always on the northeast side of the B/Q lines. So if you're looking for distressed property in Brooklyn, you know where to start.
