Now, you'll be dangling over the straits of Lower Manhattan in an eight-person aerial gondola ride, as you make your way to Governors Island to (insert fun yet undetermined barrel of activities here). A more modest version of the Roosevelt Island tramway may be in the works, according to the Post, as a way to get to the island from the Battery or Pier 6 in Brooklyn that would be cheaper than building a bridge. Meanwhile, Gothamist wonders, Why not just build an exit off the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel?
