Starbucks' Center of Gravity: Fifth and 40th

With Starbucks Fine Coffee Emporiums surrounding us, it was only a matter of time before an enterprising blogger decided to determine the location in Manhattan that represents the Starbucks center of gravity. After entering every 'Bux location in Excel, then figuring the latitude and longitude (the location at -73.99995, 40.71858 is a Curbed favorite), the center of gravity was calculated: "As if every single Starbucks was pulling you equally in its direction, this is the place where u could stand to feel the most Starbucks power." And that pole stands where? "Somewhere between 5th and 6th, in between 39th and 40th"—or as we're referring to that block now, Starbucks Row. [N.B. any similarities between Starbucks logos on map above and fast-replicating, flesh-eating bacteria are purely coincidental.]
