Woody Allen's New Townhouse

Woody Allen has re-entered the Upper East Side townhouse game, buying an East 70th Street Trowbridge & Livingston gem for $25.9 million, reports the Observer's Michael Calderone. The deal, inked last week, gives Allen ownership of the 20-foot-wide townhouse built in 1901—and redeems Allen's collapsed deal to buy a different East 70th Street home in August 2004. Not bad for a noted real estate pornographer.
