Gothamist is reporting the closing of Moby's tea emporium, Teany, on Rivington St. Crushing, crushing, blow for this fellow Moby, who was this close to making it. There is this tantalizing addendum though: "They are going to reopen in a month with something different." Rejoice! And dream of a Pianos, Moby-style.
UPDATE: Moby says, "contrary to some of the rumors that are floating around, teany isn't being shut down. we are going to close for a few weeks to revamp and re-model, but we're not shutting down." [via Newyorkology]
