In The Gutter: The Wrath of Spitzer

Behold, this week's NYC goodness at The Gutter...

1) Did a poor freelancer's decision to include First Avenue towering monstrosity The Corinthian on a list of the 10 ugliest buildings in NYC really bring down the wrath of Eliot Spitzer? Who cares! It's a hell of a story.
2) Continued insanity by way of Ground Zero: preservationists in Troy, Michigan, are fighting to preserve the studio where architect Minoru Yamasaki drew up the plans for the Twin Towers. Says a commenter, "It's been five years people, time to move on."
3) Finally, a heartfelt welcome back and plea for a kinder, gentler 2006. Psyche.
