[Corner of Vestry and Greenwich by HoodWatch photographic correspondent Will Femia]
The results of Time Out's nonscientific survey of the Best Blocks in NYC are in, and we have glad tidings to report. A block found within this week's HoodWatch microhood scored big, landing at a plum #43 on the charts. TONY's skinny on the sainted block, Vestry between Greenwich and Hudson: "The northwest portion of Tribeca has become one of the city’s most desirable enclaves, and this stretch of Vestry is hard to top. The Greenwich Street restaurant lineup is around the corner, and Hudson River Park beckons from across the West Side Highway." Amen.
Oh, and the blocks ranked higher than #43? All right. TONY's Top 10, after the jump. (Brace yourself. Goddamn Fort Greene scored first place.)
