Corcoran Hit With Bias Claims

Perhaps not convinced that Corcoran's black-and-white website color scheme proves their commitment to equality, the National Fair Housing Alliance charged that the Corcoran Group engaged in discriminatory sales practices in its Brooklyn Heights office, including racial steering and withholding information. The group cites an example where an agent "produced a map of Brooklyn and drew a red outline of the areas in which the white home seeker should consider living," and stuff like that. Corcoboss Pam Liebman is playing the whole "I can't comment because I haven't seen the charges thing," but she did say that all of her agents did recently undergo four hours of training in fair housing law and practices, which if you've seen The Office, was probably filled with a lot of laughs and gags.
