Rumblings & Bumblings Responses: PAS Deux

Answers to Tuesday's questions, for Curbed readers by Curbed readers, below. If you've got a better answer, another development question, or a sweet, sweet digital photograph, send us a line at tips@curbed.com?or drop a note in the comments below.

1) Gramercy: A commenter has this to report from Park Avenue South in the lower 20s: "That's a condo conversion at 254 PAS. [Some details here; photo right via Emporis.] The deli closed up a week or so ago; it will be replaced by more 'upscale' retail, according to deli personnel on their last day." Meanwhile, another commenter disputes the notion that the space above the Sovereign Bank at PAS and 20th is empty: "I have a view from my space and can clearly see occupancy."
2) Upper East Side: We were just testing you on the new development on the SE corner of 72nd and 1st Ave., of course. New York Presbyterian Hospital's building a 20-story tower. More here and here.
