Given that the Octagon--the former insane asylum turned luxury building--gets all the attention, to the extent that Roosevelt Island gets any attention at all unless the tram gets stuck, we thought it a good time to check in on Riverwalk. The building is now up and marketing continues for this luxe condo boasting an "easy commute" and a "cosmopolitan lifestyle." Plus, they've got the tram back, "which runs like clockwork" and has, you know, a backup system now. Not to mention that 1970s planned community vibe on Main Street. Prices run from $435K for a studio to $815K for a 2BR, which seems a little lower than reported late last year.
