Williamsburg Development Update: Manhattan Avenue

Continuing our look at development in Williamsburg east of the BQE that we started on Keap Street yesterday, we have a look at Manhattan Avenue. The photo above is the Jackson Foundry, work on which has come a long way. It was originally a munitions foundry, then a printing plant and a book depository. It's coming back to life as a 22-unit condo with studios starting at $455K and the most expensive 2BR going for $1.099 million. Two other buildings in the area after the jump.

This baby actually has an address on Powers Street. It's the Aria, advertising itself as "a symphony of light, space and design." Check out the Manhattan Avenue neighbors.

This is a small development called 368 Manhattan, which is near the foundry. It's got a simple website, especially compared to some of the flash monsters out there, that proved to be a little, um, error-prone when we checked.
