Celebrity Real Estate Wrap: Harlem Not Kind to DMX

1) It seems like the real estate life of rapper DMX is just as troubled as his personal life. He bought a three-floor Harlem brownstone opposite Mount Morris Park in 2001 for $750,000 (right). After never moving in, not being able to rent it out, and about 1,000 liens, violations, judgments, etc., it's up for sale for a whopping $1.9 million. [Josh Barbanel/Big Deal]

2) After being listed at $15 million and then $11.75 million, Harry Belafonte's gigantoid West End Avenue co-op sold for $10.75 million, to Disney heiress Abigail Disney. Disney recently sold her CPW townhouse for just over $15 million. [Braden Keil/Gimme Shelter]

3) S. Jho Roblo reports that Hugh Jackman is taking over Leonardo DiCaprio's crown for the longest New York housing hunt. His latest drop-in was at Enrique Norten's One York. Also, Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe pricechopped their Charles Street townhouse from $8.175 million down to $7.55 million, but still no buyer. [S. Jhoanna Robledo/Movers]

4) Both Barbara Bush (the young one) and Uma Thurman live on the same West 9th Street block, making it the most important block in the history of the world. Until Thurman is done combining two Gramercy Park duplexes and potentially moves out. [Page 6]

5) America's Next Top Pied-a-terre goes to modeling legend Twiggy, who bought a one-bedroom crash pad in the Westmore on West 57th Street for $739,000. [Braden Keil/Gimme Shelter]
