If it's Tuesday, and there's development, there'll be Rumblings & Bumblings. The questions below were submitted by actual readers. If you've got an answer, another question, or a sweet, sweet digital photograph, send us a line at tips@curbed.com. Answers sanitized for your protection Thursday.
1) UWS: A reader writes, "Any news on Related’s planned tower on Amsterdam Ave between 76 and 77th streets? The historic designation of the Stables (above, September) is moot given that demolition has commenced." We spied this rendering in the HELP SAVE "STABLE ROW!" section of the Landmark West website. Anybody got more?
2) Hell's Kitchen: Here's an easy one: "There are 3 big buildings going up on 52nd street b/w 10th and 11th avenues. What's the deal? It looks like 2 are apartment buildings, nearly completed."
3) East Village: Finally, we return to an old friend. Our reader writes, "Any idea what retail/commercial is expected at the Avalon Bowery Place building on East 1st Street (left)? Looks like there are about 10-15 retail spaces, anyone know?" Who wants to bet?
