Apple Bank Building's Condozation Nearly Done

It's been eons since we've discussed the thermostatic nightmare that is the Apple Bank Building at West 73rd and Broadway—the former home to elegant offices of Corcoran and Elliman, and the soon-to-be elegant home of somebody just like you. The residential conversion of the top four floors of the building into 29 condos is just about done, with residency set for January. And as promised, there's luxe-a-plenty:

The residential portion of the building will have a 24-hour concierge in the lobby that has been designed by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects, a canine grooming center on the 8th floor, an exercise room beneath a chandelier under 21-foot-high ceilings on the second floor, a commercial laundry facility and bronze mailboxes “at each home’s entrance.”Say what you will about the chandelier, but it's the fact they brought in a major architectural firm to design their concierge that really has us excited. (By the way, where are the online listings for this bad boy? They're eluding us.)
