The pressure of the Thanksgiving season, with so much feathered carnage, may just be too much for the Battery Park Turkey, who apparently considered taking his own life and causing an uptown traffic nightmare at the same time. The Post reports, "A wild turkey wandered into the toll plaza of the Triborough Bridge just before the start of the evening rush hour yesterday, halting traffic for about 15 minutes as workers chased it down."
Thankfully, the gobbler was caught and relocated to Wards Island, thus creating a wildlife power vacuum in Battery Park City.
