Remember that lawsuit to stop Brooklyn Bridge Park? Forget about it. The suit, which was brought by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Legal Defense Fund, Inc. has been dismissed by a New York State Supreme Court Judge. The judge noted "a fundamental disagreement" about how to finance the park but said the city and state “have wide discretion" in how to create and finance the park. Meaning that if they want to include 1,200 condos, it's cool. We think this means the park now moves forward.
