Bedbugs Redux: Celebs Bitten in Soho

Are bedbugs the great leveler of New York City real estate, something that rich and poor, famous and obscure all have to suffer? Could be. Comes word today that Paul Thomas Anderson, the director of "Boogie Nights," and his SNL girlfriend, Maya Rudolph, had a really bad bedbug problem in their $13,500-a-month Soho apartment. They moved out and, now, they're suing to get back their rent, security deposit and broker's commission, plus $350K damages.

Reminds us of the creepy comment a couple of weeks back that bedbugs 'will be the pest of the 21st century.' Biting blood suckers everywhere. Cheery thought.
