Williamsburg got all the attention in yesterday's NY Times story about construction havoc--like 20 current projects damaging existing buildings by one estimate. There's plenty of collateral damage elsewhere too, as South Slope blogger IMBY shows with an update on Brooklyn's favorite crack house, 1504 8th Avenue. That's the building seriously damaged by construction that's given us a crack tour, crack monitors and crack addicts. The bottom line, though, is that the building's got more and more crack.
