Because the fun never stops in Harlem: The Tatum, a new development at 50 East 129th Street, has come to the market. The seven-story building has 18 units, with the standard brand lineup: GE, Kohler, Moen, blah blah blah. The real excitement: The units each have washer/dryer hookups. Prices start at $330,000 for a 660sqft ground floor unit and rise to $650,000 for a 914sqft penthouse. The building's website touts its proximity to the boxy Harlem Park, which will be finished any day now. (Read: 2021.)
BONUS: The building may have been named for Reece "Goose" Tatum, one of the original Harlem Globe Trotters. According to the Globetrotters website, Tatum played 12 years for the team "and was considered by many to be the template for future comics and the best showmen in team history." Huzzah!
