Here's a juxtaposition of rendering and reality in Williamsburg. This is 170 N. 11th as it takes shape and the original rendering in the upper left. We don't know what's up with the blue-ish color scheme, but you can decide whether it's as scary as it appeared to be at first. As for the emptiness in the foreground, it's a long vacant site on which there is new evidence of digging. Once upon a time it is said to have been the site of a paint factory that left behind some toxic troubles.
