Things have been quiet for so long at the site of Douglaston Development's "The Edge" in Williamsburg that you might have thought the plans were on hold. Some piles were driven this summer, a big and weird PDF was leaked, the workers went away and a stop work order showed up. Now, a tipster emails to update the plans for the four buildings planned for the site. Specifically, Building #1 will have 353 apartments and first floor retail and restaurant, Building #2 will have 241 Apartments and retail on the first floor, Building #3 will have 95 apartments and more first floor retail and Building #4 will have 203 apartments and first floor retail. That would be 892 residential units (the tipster says "apartments" rather than "condos," so we don't know if plans have changed) and a whole lot of retail. The original plan called for 1,000 residential units and 100,000 square feet of retail. Updated plans as soon as we have them.
