Red Hook: Looking Super Fine

Red Hook is certainly the gift that keeps on giving. We have the demolition of the Revere Sugar Plant. And, yesterday, the redevelopment of the waterfront piers started to come to a slow simmer. In any case, check out the inside view of the former Todd Shipyards site taken by flickr photog f.trainer of the site where Ikea is building its big blue and yellow waterfront box. There's definite progress on the future home of Ektorp and Hensvik. With the Revere dome to be eliminated shortly, should be quite the empty end of the world look down there for a bit longer.
