Domain, Eminently Mapped

Let's get our Kelo on, shall we? Via Google Maps Mania (which notes a slew of new real estate related Google Maps today) comes this map charting alleged eminent domain abuse across America. For New York State, the mappers note, "New York is one of the worst states in the country for eminent domain abuse. In the past several years, it has condemned small businesses for the New York Stock Exchange, The New York Times, Costco, and Stop & Shop." Which dovetails with an onNYturf post today chronicling New York State's "hollow reform" of eminent domain. Gem quote: "These bills [pending in the state legislature] are like a pernicious email virus, infecting minds, and relaying their deceit to the unwitting."
