Peeking inside the lobby-to-be of Downtown by Philippe Starck at 15 Broad Street, known around these parts as Philippe Starck's Downtown Insanity Palace, photoblogger Will Femia spots the Chandelier of Insanity under construction. If you recall, this is the chandelier that will include multiple video screens that display "perfect photo-op images" of building residents as they stroll by. Notes Femia, "I can't help but imagine some poor shlub sitting in the middle of all these pieces trying to make sense of an instruction sheet and hating his life."
