Brooklyn Parks in Line for WiFi

Until Google blankets NYC with a free WiFi net, we'll have to be content with the city's incremental efforts. A passel of six Brooklyn parks—Fort Greene Park, Columbus Park near Cadman Plaza, Carroll Park in Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill Park and the Brooklyn Heights Promenade—are all in line for free WiFi by mid-April. Which might just take the edge off the problem of those fast-multiplying pharmacies.
