The NYT business section ran a nice profile of developer Frank Sciame this past weekend—the developer who's looking to build Santiago Calatrava's Tower O' Penthouses at 80 South Street in downtown Manhattan. In the profile, we learn much about Sciame's past, present, and how he "started shaking" when he came across an image of the unbuilt Calatrava tower in a book on "the world's great buildings." All well and good.
But us, well, we were looking for just one important fact about 80 South Street and the $29 million penthouses that are currently for sale. There, at the bottom of paragraph five, we found it: "None have yet been sold."
