BREAKING: Lachlan's 11 Spring Street Hits Market

Long we've wondered about the fate of 11 Spring Street, aka the Ice House, aka the Street Art Shrine, aka the Freaking Coolest Building in Nolita, aka Our One True Love. Ousted NYPost publisher Lachlan Murdoch bought the joint for $5.25 million back in 2003, started renovation work on it in fall 2004, then fled for Australia. Corcoran has scored the $14.75 million listing, which reads in part: "This builiding has unlimited possibilities as either a fabulous single family residence [yes!—ed] or a top notch condo development project [nooooo!!!—ed]. Building sold 'AS IS' and Delivered Vacant." With a potential windfall for Lachlan of $9.5 million. G'day!
