Curbed Three-Pack: West Village Ladder #1 (

[This week, we're taking our three-packs to the West Village, where we'll climb the price ladder from six- to eight-figures. Today, we start with three listings under $500k.]

1) What/Where: 1BR, 192 Bleecker btwn MacDougal & 6th
Asking: $449k
The Skinny: Fourth-floor walkup "compact" one-bedroom. Mm, nothing like sneaking some low-end auto jargon into the mix. But wait, there's a crazy wall of shelves, 18 kitchen cabinets (yes, she counted), and windows in every room. Tres "'Chic' and 'Classy,'" says the listing. "Ideal for the first time buyer or NYU professor or student alike, anyone who appreciates really good taste." Natch.
· Listing: 192 Bleeker Street [Elliman]

2) What/Where: Studio, West 12th St.
Asking: $349k
The Skinny: Full-service coop in the John Adams, a 404-unit monstrosity on 6th between 12th and 13th. "Lots of closet space" (theme alert!), plus an "upcoming" roof deck for those claustrophobia moments. Best leave the kids at home: "Perfect for a single or a couple's use as a pied a terre," says the listing.
· Listing: West 12th Street Cooperative [Brown Harris]

1) What/Where: Studio, 92 Horatio St. (and Washington)
Asking: $398k
The Skinny: Heading west, we find this 420-sqft "sun flooded" studio. More exposed brick and a kitchen with..."loads of storage." N.B. the lone wooden chair in the photo at left. Does not bode well for the sectional you're moving from your NJ McMansion.
· Listing: 92 Horatio [Corcoran]
