Somehow (yes, we know, it's shocking) we've managed to neglect a Leviev Boymelgreen development at 88 Leonard St. Granted, it's not the swankiest part of Tribeca, and it's a building of rental apartments?352 units, ranging from studios to three-bedrooms?but still, we're mildly ashamed. To atone, we offer the above construction shot, taken from Broadway, along with two others after the jump, including one with a close-up on what's likely some luxe-life air-conditioner sleeves (although, Brooklynites may note, not a Fedders logo in sight). Plus we throw in a lobby rendering just to show we care.
Architect-in-need-of-a-decent-web-designer Costas Kondylis drew up the blueprints, and occupancy could come as soon as June or July. We're not sure how many stories to peg this place at: Pick a number between 19 and 23, and own it. Rose Associates will be handling the rentals upstairs, while retail specialists RKF is angling to lease the ground-floor retail space at 345 Broadway. Of course, any scuttlebutt on the pricing would make our day (and potentially yours as well).
