It's a Go: Cablevision's New Madison Square Garden

We had our say about this a few weeks ago, so let's just cut to the news: Cablevision has signed a memorandum of understanding to build a new Madison Square Garden. As noted, it'll be part of the Moynihan Station renovation of the James A. Farley Post Office across the street; the old MSG—to our minds, the finest arena in the world—will be torn down. Not many more details available at this point, though Crain's says a new round of station plans are expected in June. (For bonus horrifying Cablevision fun, read the Post story, too.)
