No news on the corner of 92nd and 3rd or the Thompson St. park, but here's the skinny on the new condos in the former Odd Job space, aka 8 Union Square South, from our friends at Shvo, who will be marketing the project: "14 floors. 20 units, 2&3br starting at about one and a half million. Keep an eye out for the pretty art installation of moving lights that will grace the crown of the building. It's being created by a very talented graphic designer/ yale school of art lecturer and will not spout steam or be an eyesore ..."
It gets better. In March, Shvo himself had this to say about the project: "This building will be ready in two to three months and the only thing I can say right now is we’re bringing something that is going to change the face of Union Square more than Whole Foods." Uh huh. [Rendering via Arpad Baska Architect.]
