Celebrity Real Estate Wrap: Pricing Camelot

1) The 1040 Fifth Avenue apartment that belonged to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis is being put on the market by billionaire David Koch, who just moved out of the Candela-designed building to go live at another famous Candela address, 740 Park Avenue. He bought Jackie O's place in 1995 for $9.5 million. Today's price: $32 million. [William Neuman/Big Deal]
2) If you were suddenly making $15 million per year, what would be the first thing you do? Well, after all the whores and drugs, you'd go house-hunting in the Hamptons, which is exactly what Katie Couric is doing. She's either looking to buy for around $7 million, or rent for the season for $300,000. [Braden Keil/Gimme Shelter]
3) Frequently fat-suited playwright and movie maker Tyler Perry, of "Madea's Family Reunion" and "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" fame, has purched a two-bedroom 1,600-square-foot two-bedroom condo in ThreeTen East 53rd, another one of those big glass towers. This is the second ThreeTen mention today, btw. [William Neuman/Big Deal]
4) We just caught record exec Antonio "LA" Reid's son on an episode of MTV's "My Super Sweet 16," and from the looks of it, the family likes to live large. To that effect, the Island-Def Jam head honcho just closed on a two-story Sagaponack home for $10 million, ending a long Hamptons home search. [Michael Calderone/Manhattan Transfers]
