No sooner does Gothamist get the back of Curbed commenters on the Vesuvio Playground mystery, than we receive this email with news of another playground being ripped up nearby:
In keeping with the eruption of sentiment over Vesuvio Park ... Has no one pointed out the demo of Father Demo Square at Sixth Ave & Carmine St? Maybe my irony meter is set too high from living in Williamsburg. First Vesuvio erupts and then Demo gets demo'd. (As previously reported in Rumblings & Bumblings, it's getting a $1 million cleanup.) If there are any reports of the Hippo Playground getting stomped, or mysterious things shooting up at the Beanstalk Playground, we will be the first to let you know.
