One Hanson Place Update: Banking on Books

While we continue to play cat and mouse with the One Hanson Place website, the Post has some new info on what will be occupying the ornate banking hall (above) of the former Williamsburgh Savings Bank Building: Brooklyn's first Borders. The bookstore chain has signed for 32,000 square feet across three levels in the opulent space, where they'll be paying $2 million a year, a bit of a bargain compared with nearby ground-floor rents of $100/sqft.
