Brooklyn real estate blogger Brownstoner jumps into the broker rating ring, launching a homespun site called Brokerate that lets users critique real estate brokers. Ratings are on a three-tier basis, with open comments; predictably, the swords are already out for Michael Shvo. (One odd downside: there's no way to search for brokers by name.)
Meantime, checking back in on the first player to launch in this space, Homethinking, the site has populated its ranks with profiles of virtually all NYC brokers. Sharpen your pencils—the fun's just beginning.
