Celebrity Real Estate Wrap: Denzel Wants New Digs

1) Denzel Washington has been spotted on the hunt once again, this time seriously checking out this 15-room duplex at the Campanile building, which is going for $10.9 million. The East 52nd Street co-op overlooks the East River, as you can see at right. If he goes for it, he'll be buying into the former home of Ethel Barrymore, H.J. Heinz and Greta Garbo, among others. Denzel was previously seen checking out the Novare. [Braden Keil/Gimme Shelter]
2) Awesome showdown going on at East 57th Street, where a developer is squaring off against publishing titans and high-society couple Sir Harry Evans and Tina Brown over a wall that dates back to the 1860's. The developer wants to tear it down to make way for a 15-story condo, and Evans (who owns six inches of the wall) wants to keep it up to preserve the privacy of their garden. Fight! Fight! Fight! [William Neuman/Big Deal; NYPost]
3) Spotted last week checking out apartments in Harrison Ford's building in Chelsea: Sienna Miller. According to Page 6, Miller wants to move to NYC from London. [Page 6]
4) Dear Southampton: Katie Couric is coming, so keep an eye out for her valuables. The news lass is paying $8 million for a five-bedroom, two-story home on a private gated property. [Braden Keil/Gimme Shelter]
