As promised, Red Hook photoblogger Callallilie scores a suite of photos from inside the just-opened Red Hook Fairway, uploading them up a mere 30 minutes after the 10:30am opening. Her report: "Full fish and meat section. Olive bar. Every kind of cheese imaginable. Bagels. Deli. Bakery, Fresh flowers. Normal everyday items. The place is huge and kind of overwhelming. It also almost brought tears to my eyes (only minor sarcasm here). Can't wait to shop for supper. I should also note that the little old ladies with granny carts with a habit of running into your ankles are in full force. But instead of being from the UWS, they are from Park Slope. At least the ones that I met this morning were."
