From the Upper East Side, land of many white-brick apartment buildings, a tipster sends along this news:
I was waiting in line at the Banana Republic on 65th Street on the UES over the weekend and overheard the woman in front of me say that she, "lived in the ugly white brick building across the street" and that it was going condo. Just thought you might want to know. A little detective work reveals three buildings that fit the bill. Surrounding the BR are: 200 E. 66th, 201 E. 66th and 165 E. 66th?each an ugly white brick building. We're stumped. Anyone care to help solve this mystery?
