Now that Trader Joe's and its alcoholic little bro are up and running, the big speculation is on what will open next to the wine store. There's still one retail slot that NYU has to fill, and it looks like the long-languishing space may finally have a suitor. The other day we spotted old men in suits holding clipboards outside the storefront, always a good sign. Then a reader sent this in:
I was wondering what was going in NEXT to Trader Joe's Wine Store. There is construction going on -- and a window stencil in place that says "live.sleep.work.dine". I did a google search for that phrase and the best that I can come up w/ is that maybe it will be an EQ3Sounds valid, but we welcome other guesses. The location isn't on the home furnishing chain's website ... yet.
