After seeing the picture of the hearse parked outside of Williamsburg's dead/dying 184 Kent the other day, a Curbed reader was moved to submit his own memories of the conversion-pending Cass Gilbert structure:
When I saw that "golden" hearse in the post I immediately remembered a New Year's Eve party I went to at 184 Kent last year (pictures enclosed). On our way to the party we saw the sticker on the window of the hearse and I couldn't resist taking a picture of what it said. And as a testament to the strength of the oldest profession, the charriot remains to this day outside of 184 Kent. After the jump, a glimpse of sheer 184K revelry.
