We thought Smith Street, aka "Brooklyn's Restaurant Row," had ceased to be "hipster" and had become old fashioned gentrified. Yet, A Brooklyn Life has culled a gem from Craigslist, offering "Hipster storefront lease for sale." Says the listing:
Prime location on hipster Smith St...Near all the best restaurants and trendy boutiques (American apparel next door.)Adds A Brooklyn Life, "No matter what you open in this storefront, you are guaranteed hipness." ABL also proposes a renaming contest for BoCoCa (Boerum Hill-Cobble Hill-Carroll Gardens) and suggests including Gowanus in naming mix to expand the possibilities. GoBo, anyone?
